Saaten-Union Romania Production SRL. is a subsidiary of SU3. Saatzucht & Saatenhandelsbeteiligungs GmbH Germany that was supported and founded by the partners Nordsaat Saatzucht, PHP Petersen and Saatzucht Ackermann. The facilities located in Romania handle, store and process cereals, sunflowers and maize.
German Seed Alliance GmbH
German Seed Alliance GmbH (GSA) is a union of four market-leading German seed breeding companies: Deutschen Saatveredelung AG, Norddeutsche Pflanzenzucht Hans-Georg Lembke KG, SAKA Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH and Nordsaat Saatzucht GmbH. The GSA especially focuses on integrating research and development and tapping the Russian market. The GSA is involved in research, breeding, seed production and sales.
Elsoms Wheat Ltd.
The new breeding programme between Elsoms (UK), Saaten-Union Recherche (FR) and Nordsaat (DE) will draw on genetics and skills from all three companies and will be undertaken by a new company called Elsoms Wheat Ltd. EWL will have access to germplasm and know-how from its 3 shareholders and to biotechnologies developed by Saaten-Union Biotec. Elsoms Wheat Limited will have its main breeding station at Spalding Lincolnshire, with support from Saaten-Union UK based in Cowlinge Suffolk.
