Forschungs- und Züchtungsallianz in der Gemeinschaft zur Förderung der privaten deutschen Pflanzenzüchtung e.V. (GFP)

proWeizen ist im November 2012 als zentrale Plattform und Anlaufstelle für Weizenforschung und Weizenzüchtung in Deutschland gegründet worden. Die Allianz proWeizen stellt sich der Herausforderung, die wissenschaftliche Exzellenz der Weizenforschung zusammenzuführen und mit der züchterischen Expertise zu verbinden.

GFPi- Gemeinschaft zur Förderung von Pflanzeninnovation
(The Research Federation of the German Private Plant Breeders)

The Gemeinschaft zur Förderung der privaten deutschen Pflanzenzüchtung e.V. (GFP) is an association of medium-scale plant breeding companies who are interested in research. The GFP coordinated national and European joint research projects for its members. The GFP also represents the research-policy related interests of plant breeding companies in the association and in the EU. 

JKI - Julius Kühn Institut

The Julius Kühn Institute carries out research work in fields such as plant genetics, plant cultivation, plant nutrition, soil science, plant protection and plant health. It thus covers the extensive domain of the biology of cultivated plants.

IPK - Leibniz-Institut für Pflanzengenetik und Kulturpflanzenforschung
(Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research)

Being an internationally renowned research centre of modern biology, IPK is involved in creating a basis for cultivated plants and conducting applied research on them.
