Pflanzenbau Langenstein GmbH & Co. KG is located in the gently undulating and hilly landscape of northern Harz foreland between Halberstadt and Wernigerode in the Harz district, in the Saxony-Anhalt state.
This diversified landscape on the lee side of the boulders is characterised by continental climate with low rainfall on an average.
The transition from winter to summer is quick and hence pre-summer dryness is often observed.
The facility provides 150 ha of breeding garden area to Nordsaat.
The storage capacity for agricultural products is 8.000 tons.
